This policy describes how Green Biz Nursery collects, uses, and protects mobile phone numbers and related information in connection with our text messaging programs. It applies to text messages we exchange with customers and to operational notifications we send to our employees.
Information we collect
Mobile phone number, provided by you in person, by phone, on our website, or by texting our business number. For employees, provided during onboarding.
Name and contact details you give us so we can identify you and respond to your request.
Message content and metadata, including the text of messages exchanged with us, timestamps, and delivery status.
How we use this information
Responding to your questions, quotes, orders, and service requests.
Sending order, delivery, and appointment updates you have asked for.
Sending employees operational notifications, including weather closures, delayed openings, and schedule changes.
Keeping records of our communications with you.
We do not sell or share your number for marketing
Mobile information and text messaging opt-in data are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties for marketing under any circumstances.
We share information only with service providers who help us deliver messages on our behalf, and only as needed to do so. Our messages are delivered through Twilio, our messaging provider, which processes message content and phone numbers solely to transmit them. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Consent
Customers. We send text messages to customers who have given us their mobile number and asked us to contact them, or who have texted our business number first. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of purchase.
Employees. Employees provide a mobile number during onboarding and acknowledge in writing that they will receive occasional operational notifications. These messages are sent only to current employees.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that program. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the details below. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
Opting out of text messages does not remove you from our customer records, and we may still contact you by phone or email where you have asked us to.
Retention and security
We keep message records for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet our legal and recordkeeping obligations. Access to messages is limited to authorized staff, and our messaging system requires individual authenticated accounts.
Your choices
You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to any records we are required to keep. Contact us using the details below.
